The Concrete and Mortar Moisture Tester HI-520 is a compact, handheld instrument designed for measuring the moisture content of concrete, mortar, autoclaved lightweight concrete (ALC), artificial lightweight aggregate concrete, and plaster.
Using the high-frequency capacitance method at 20 MHz, the HI-520 measures moisture by placing the sensor directly against the material surface. Its integrated design combines the sensor and main unit, allowing quick, non-destructive moisture measurement without damaging the material.
The instrument features automatic temperature correction, thickness adjustment for measurements up to an average depth of 40 mm, and convenient alarm and hold functions. It is suitable for moisture inspection and quality control in construction, concrete manufacturing, waterproofing, and coating applications.
Product Status: Discontinued. The HI-520 has been replaced in KETT’s product lineup by the HI-520-2.
