The KETT MT-900 Wood Moisture Tester is designed for measuring the moisture content of veneer and wood materials. Using the electrical resistance method, it measures moisture through a four-needle probe inserted into the wood, providing quick and convenient measurements for wood inspection and quality control.
The MT-900 features built-in calibration curves for hardwood and softwood, as well as 16 wood group classifications. Its wide measurement range makes it suitable for checking both relatively dry wood and high-moisture timber.
The instrument also features automatic temperature compensation, average value display, an upper-limit moisture alarm, and moisture value correction. With optional printer and PC connection accessories, measurement data can be used for recording and quality management in woodworking, lumber processing, and wood drying applications.
